Australia Day Honours for former board members
BreastScreen Victoria congratulates two very important women who have been recognised for their contribution to the nation in the Australia Day Honours List.
Ms Anne Cronin has been awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to community health and to medical research organisations while Ms Dorothy Reading was also awarded a Medal in the Order of Australia (OAM) for her service to community health, particularly to people with cancer.
Ms Cronin retired from the BreastScreen Victoria Board where she had served as Treasurer in February 2016.
Ms Reading retired from the BreastScreen Victoria Board in December 2010 after 20 years membership, 18 of those as Deputy Chair.
