An update regarding our Elsternwick clinic

BreastScreen Victoria is working closely with women who visit the Elsternwick clinic to ensure none are inconvenienced by its temporary closure.

Breast screening services are set to resume in September with partners Cabrini Health at an exciting new facility nearby and in the meantime, women who had been booked for their regular mammogram will either be redirected to a clinic convenient to them or rescheduled for an appointment.

“No woman will miss out on what is a vitally important preventative health measure,” confirmed BreastScreen Victoria CEO, Vicki Pridmore.

“While the Elsternwick clinic closure is disappointing, it is only temporary while BreastScreen Victoria works with Cabrini Health to deliver a service to the standard that local women have come to expect and rely upon.”

Women with existing appointments are in the process of being contacted with options to have their breast screen at Camberwell, Moorabbin, The Rose Clinic or to reschedule their visit.
